A refreshed version of the REC Code Roadmap is now available. It presents the priority work items that the REC Code Manager is delivering now and in the near future that are resulting, or could result, in changes to the REC.
Points to note from V1.5 include:
- A new Theme has been added, to cover changes and activities related to Metering Point Management. There are a number of new REC Change Issues that have been raised recently in this area including I0190 – Status of Related Meter Points, I0191 – De Energisation of disconnected meters, I0194 – Preventing Registration by Market Segment, I0196 – Suppliers/Shippers using enhanced data from MEMs in CDSP and I0199 – Resolution of unregistered gas sites
- CSS Processes theme has an increase in activity; this currently includes:
- I0168 and I0180 that will be discussed at upcoming REC Change Issue Group meetings (relating to Switching issues ‘on hold’ and CRS Provider requirements)
- New CP R0203 CRS Retry Strategy
- CRS Performance Charge – CP expected soon
- Ten consultations (also including impact assessments, RFIs and surveys) are happening in August, spread across 8 Themes. Contact your OAM or change.management@recmanager.co.uk with any queries.
- Volume of change confirmed or proposed for the August/September 2024 Release; up to 8 CPs could be implemented over these two releases. Refer to the Portal to find out more.
