The August 2024 Extraordinary REC Release will be implemented on 23 August 2024. Further information on the Change Proposals that are being implemented as part of this Release are available on the Release Management page.
Please note that following further testing of R0098 – Optional Fuzzy Searching in EES and R0108 – Enabling Electricity Enquiry Searches Using A Unique Property Reference Number, both of which impact the Electricity Enquiry Service (EES) API, a decision has been made to exclude both of these changes from the August 2024 Release, to ensure ongoing performance stability of the EES API. Further work is taking place to determine whether these changes can be implemented without significant impact on the performance of the EES API, as well as considering when implementation may be possible. The updated August 2024 Release Plan (V1.1) has been published and reflects the changes that are currently in scope of the August 2024 Release.
As part of the August 2024 Release, an updated version of the REC Baseline Statement will be implemented to reflect the new version numbers of the updated products and the relevant changes relating to R0166 – Removal of the Green Deal Panel.
